Audit Logs

OpsFusion records configuration changes across your account in an audit log. When a schedule changes, a team member is removed, or an API key is deleted, the audit log is the record of who did it and when.

Access Audit Logs

1. Click on your name in the top-right corner
2. Select Account from the dropdown menu
3. Open Audit Logs

Timestamps can be displayed as absolute times or as relative ages.

What Gets Recorded

Audit events cover account, user, team, API key, and billing activity:

Account

Event	Recorded when
account-create	The account is created
account-update	Account settings change
account-owner	Account ownership changes

Users and Invitations

Event	Recorded when
invite-create	A user is invited
user-create	A user joins the account
user-update	A user’s details or role change
user-delete	A user is removed

Teams

Event	Recorded when
team-create	A team is created
team-update	Team settings change
team-delete	A team is deleted
team-member-add	A member is added to a team
team-member-remove	A member is removed from a team
team-mute-add	A team is muted
team-mute-remove	A team is unmuted

API Keys

Billing

Event	Recorded when

billing-update	Billing details change

The question audit logs answer

On-call configuration drifts quietly. “Who changed the rotation?”, “when was that person removed from the team?”, and “who deleted the API key our monitoring was using?” are all answerable here — usually faster than reconstructing it from memory.

Export

Audit log entries can be exported for reporting or retention outside OpsFusion, in CSV or JSON format.

Retention

Audit records are retained for 400 days by default.
